What the hell am I doing here? Well, after a little over 20 years at one agency (loyalty does still exist), I found myself searching for answers. I had navigated several years of significant change and accomplished everything I wanted to. But I didn’t want my legacy to be solely associated with my one workplace. My insatiable appetite for exploration was raging. I missed marketing. It’s a creative outlet for me. Always has been and always will be. I like to create and collaborate with creators. I consider myself a brand de·vi·ant, departing from usual standards and constantly challenging conventional norms. I’m fascinated by social behavior. Have you ever seen a woman curl her hair while waiting for her plane to arrive? To succeed in brand marketing today you have to be able to adapt quickly. Just like animals shapeshifting to survive climate change, brands must evolve to thrive in the modern social climate. I don’t believe in traditional methods. I do believe in a foundation and identity that serves as a compass. I also believe you have to build a brand that is fluid - capable of making waves or riding them. Discussing how far you can “stretch” your brand has new meaning. There’s not one winning strategy, the playbook is always being updated. Do you want to increase your shooting percentage? You have might a roster full of All-Stars who are capable of becoming elite scorers, but championship teams need a point guard who can get them the ball. When I know the situation I can drive the fast break. I’m an independent thinker who can bring a fresh perspective to your system. A noncomformist willing to go against the crowd or fade the public. I see the whole court, but I’m aware of my blind spots. You need someone who can figure it out. Sure, ideas are only successful if you make them happen, but where are the ideas coming from? Pair me with an operator and you can make millions of dollars. So now you know what's possible, let me tell you what's required.
