We are Synwave, a student-led iGEM research team from University of Glasgow, focused on using synthetic biology to address pressing global challenges. Based in Scotland, we are dedicated to developing innovative solutions that have real-world impact. Our work combines cutting-edge research with community outreach and fundraising initiatives. We will compete in the 2025 iGEM competition, the worlds largest synthetic biology event with 400+ teans from over 60 countries.
