Shizi Information

SHIZI is an independent, non-governmental, and non political organization. The purpose of the Association is to contribute in:The promotion of the rights of vulnerable groups of population, especially women and young people with few posibilities for social and economical integration;Promotion of the rights of the habitants of informal areas in all the territory of Republic of Albania with regard to legalization of informal buildings and integration of this group with other part of the society; promotion of civil participation of the habitants of informal areas in local and central level decision making;Education of the habitants of informal areas with the principles of democracy, civil society and citizens participation;Support to the communities of informal areas with regard to lobbying in decision making entities in order to facilitate and/or resolve the problems of these communities;Education of young people with few posibilities for social and economical integration, with leadership skills;Increase the responsibility of the community and state bodies for the vulnerable groups of population;Dissemination of informal education training methods and practices for increasing the capacities of vulnerable groups of population (women, young people, elders) to integrate in social and economical life;Promotion of human rights, democracy principles and rule of law in the society;The vizion of SHIZI:The association aim is to improve the living conditions of vulnerable groups of population and enhance the citizens participation that direclty, positively impacts a more responsible and fair governing.
