Intervention Community Corrections Services Information

Intervention Community Corrections Services, (ICCS) is a private, non-profit community corrections agency that provides a wide variety of services to the criminal justice system. Services include residential/non-residential offender management, substance abuse monitoring, and educational/vocational assistance. Primary programming is within the residential community corrections program located at 1651 Kendall St. Lakewood, Colorado. Contracted services began December 1, 2002. The goal of ICCS is to provide a cost-effective alternative to offender incarceration, in a safe environment, with the aim of reducing criminal behavior through provision of supervision and services in the community. To accomplish this, ICCS strives to enable offenders to successfully reintegrate into the community through appropriate treatment interventions, with constant focus on maintaining community safety. ICCS is dedicated to community safety and client success through a well-trained and highly qualified staff. It is our belief that sound programming of clients better enables them to successfully reintegrate into society. Clients must be referred to appropriate treatment with constant monitoring of their progress in order for them to succeed and for the community to remain safe. Major programmatic emphases for clients are to improve problem areas, which lead to their involvement in the criminal justice system. ICCS utilizes a wide variety of qualified community treatment providers to assist clients with their individual needs. Each client is assigned a residential case manager who develops a customized individual service plan, designed to provide the client with maximum benefit of appropriate community resources. ICCS is committed to providing the finest community corrections services available in the State of Colorado. The quality of the ICCS program is evidenced through maintaining compliance with all established standards of the Colorado Division of Criminal Justice (DCJ). Program staff works closely with the Jefferson County Community Corrections Board to insure all issues are resolved efficiently.
