CoderDojo NYC is a volunteer non-profit that teaches web, game and app development to youth ages 7 to 17. Our mission is to create a fun, collaborative environment to explore STEM*. Through play, youth can build memorable experiences with mentors. Rebecca Garcia and Carl Sednaoui co-founded the NYC chapter in 2012. We've now grown to host monthly workshops with dozens of youth, and reach over 1,200 families across the Greater New York area. We are supported by our 501(c)3 non-profit fiscal sponsor People Who Give a Damn, Inc. * = Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics
