Blacktown City is the largest local government area in NSW with an estimated population of 430,000 residents and a projected population of 644,000 by 2041. Our 15 elected Councillors are supported by over 2,000 staff who cover administrative and outdoor activities. Blacktown is in the heart of Western Sydney, 35 kilometres from the Sydney CBD and spread across 247 square kilometres and 54 suburbs. The day-to-day operations of Blacktown City are led by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) who is the contact between the elected Councillors and Blacktown City’s administrative body.
