Blackpool Pleasure Beach is the UK’s favourite award-winning amusement park, with rides and attractions, spectacular shows found throughout its 42-acre site making it the world’s most ride intensive park. Home to the steel mega-coaster that is the Big One, the UK’s only Nickelodeon Land and the world’s first Wallace & Gromit ride, Thrill-O-Matic, Blackpool Pleasure Beach is full of world firsts. The world’s first looping rollercoaster, Revolution; the world’s first fully-suspended coaster, Infusion; the world’s largest dark ride, Valhalla and the one of the world’s oldest rides, Sir Hiram Maxim’s Flying Machines. Nickelodeon Land opened in 2011 and is home to 12 amazing rides, a whole host of Nickelodeon characters themed around the world’s number one children’s entertainment channel. The park also plays home to the spectacular Hot Ice Show from the Pleasure Beach Arena. Take your seats in the theatre for a glamorous, fast moving ice show packed with hundreds of sequin-studded costumes and incredibly daring lifts.
